Documentary about Quentin Crisp. In 1981, this flamboyantly gay Briton left for New York at the age of 73. Director Nossiter follows Crisp through the streets and small theaters of Manhattan, dining with friends and meeting John Hurt, the actor who portrayed Crisp in the TV movie "The Naked Civil Servant." Friends and acquaintances give their opinion about Quentin Crisp and the history of acceptance of homosexuals, in which Crisp played a major role.
