Pierre Janssen - In de Greep van de Kunst plot
Pierre Janssen (1926-2007) is a household name for a large group of Dutch people: he is the tall, skinny and extraordinarily fascinating presenter who presented the AVRO television program Kunst Grips with trembling hands. For years (from 1959 to 1975) he captivated an audience of millions on Sunday evening prime time. Janssen made art accessible and tangible to a wide audience and made an indelible impression on many. The documentary features various people who have experienced him during his impressive career, such as his daughter, visual artist Evelyne Janssen, Klaas Gubbels, Leen Timp, Hendrik Driessen and Max Meijer.
