Parajanov: The Last Spring plot

Documentary about the widely respected filmmaker Sergei Parajanov, who was imprisoned for a long time in a very high-security prison during the Soviet regime. His artistic qualities are described as the creation of 'Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors' and 'Color of Pomegranate'. This documentary was made into a film by his best friend and filmmaker Mikhail Vardanov, a fighter of the Soviet regime and therefore also 'persona non grata'. Unpublished letters reveal a shocking secret.
