One Golden Summer plot

In 2014, the Jackie Robinson West Little League team from Chicago became the first all-black team to win the American Little League Baseball Championship. Along the way, the thirteen twelve-year-old athletes from the South Side grew into media stars—their faces graced magazine covers and appeared on major TV networks, gaining them millions of fans nationwide. They were even invited to the White House to meet President and Mrs. Obama. But everything collapsed when a rival coach accused the team of violating the rules.
