In the 1960s, painter and sculptor Niki de Saint Phalle started her career shooting paintings, reliefs where she shot paint bags. She became famous and popular for her 'Nanas'; colorful sculptures of large and cheerful women, and through her collaboration with Jean Tinguely. The frame of this film is a tour of her garden in Tuscany.
