In the small town of Boizenburg in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, a small kiosk has stood in the middle of the station square for many years. The kiosk is open every day from 5 am to 10 pm and not only caters to travellers, but is also a kind of local pub for shift workers, the unemployed, taxi drivers and retirees. But one day in 2015, the quiet life around the small kiosk changes; Thousands of refugees suddenly arrive at the station on their way to the nearby relief camp. Director Dieter Schumann speaks with the visitors of the kiosk, who are normally not interested in big politics.
