Mother & Baby plot

For decades, Catholic Ireland locked up children in institutions if they had been processed out of wedlock, as punishment for their sinning mothers. In these 'mother-and-baby homes' child mortality was alarmingly high, in one of the homes a mass grave had even been discovered with the remains of 796 babies. This short documentary follows Peter, Pat and Carmel, who were forcibly separated from their mothers as children and ended up in such an institution.
