Miles Davis (1926-1991) was a jazz trumpeter and composer. Considered one of the most important and influential jazz musicians of the twentieth century, he was the epitome of cool. This documentary paints a picture of the musician and sideways touches on the man behind the music. A chronological picture of this is sketched on the basis of archive photos, home videos and interviews with fellow musicians.
