Mein Bruder. We'll Meet Again plot

Before the fall of the wall, Micha was a good friend of director Thomas Heise and his brother Andreas. Once the GDR had fallen, however, it turned out that Micha was secretly collaborating with the Stasi, and had written reports about the Heise brothers for years. In the film, Thomas visits his brother, who has forgiven Micha for everything and lives with him in a small village in the south of France. The film paints a picture of the relationship between the two brothers, and the extremely different ways in which they deal with the past.
