Klaus Mäkelä, vers la Flamme plot

Finnish conductor Klaus Mäkelä is the intended new chief conductor of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra from 2027. Director Bruno Monsaingeon sketches a portrait of the young conductor. Mäkelä (1996) can be seen as a growing child and teenager during lessons in which he conducts a group of musicians under the tutelage of the legendary Finnish pedagogue Jorma Panula. In interviews, Mäkelä talks about his vision on being a conductor and about his favorite music.
