Kapitalism - Reteta Noastra Secreta plot

Twenty years after the fall and execution of the communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu, Romania has the semblance of a western, capitalist democracy, adorned with billboards, prestigious shops and large cars. But behind the alluring commerce are dilapidated buildings, the country has the lowest national income of all former Soviet satellites, and 32 percent of that income goes to a small group of millionaires. Filmmaker Alexandru Solomon goes in search of the cause of the imbalance and interviews some of the multimillionaires and sometimes even billionaires. All the big capitalists, with strong roots in the former regime and the current government, allow themselves to be interviewed by Solomon with visible pleasure, surrounded by large mirrored walls. They are in no way ashamed of their obscene wealth and the obvious corruption that underlies it: "You can't be successful without stealing."
