Jayne Mansfield, la Tragédie d'une Blonde plot

With her platinum blonde haircut and voluptuous curves, Jayne Mansfield, actually a brunette, was quickly compared to that other famous blonde and pin-up of the time, Marilyn Monroe. But in Hollywood, unlike Monroe, she has little success. She only breaks through on the theater boards of New York. Afterwards, she also received recognition on the silver screen, for her role in 'Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter?' (1957) for which she won a Golden Globe. But the success is short-lived, as is her life. Mansfield is killed in a terrible car accident in the summer of 1967.
