In September 2022, 22-year-old Iranian Mahsa Amini died in police custody after an arrest for an alleged hijab violation. Her death sparked a large-scale uprising in Iran, fueled by social media. Filmmaker Majed Neisi collected more than a hundred hours of footage, which offers a shocking insight into a regime that uses violence to keep the population under control.
