Ima Hozeret Habayta plot

Fifteen years ago, 22-year-old Marisa left her three-year-old son and newborn daughter with her parents in Bolivia, and traveled overseas for a job in the West. She ended up working as a hardworking cleaner in Israel, sending her salary home and following her children's growing up only through photos and sporadic phone calls. Now Marisa returns to reunite with her children and family and become a real mother. But her children react apathetically or hostilely to her. They insist on calling her "aunt" instead of mother. The house, which should have been built with her money, turned out to be nothing more than a skeleton. Marisa feels ripped off. The documentary provides a special, but painful picture of the meaning of poverty and motherhood in a globalizing world.
