Ik Wil Graag Honderd Worden plot
For a year, filmmaker Paul Hegeman followed Ton Koopman with his camera in all his activities at home and abroad, from Bussum to Madrid. Koopman is relatively unknown in the Netherlands. Abroad, however, the exceptional musician is world famous. Ton Koopman is a rare driven and versatile man. He uses every minute of the day optimally. He is not only the conductor and leader of his own Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra & Choir and guest conductor of top orchestras all over the world, but also plays solo, as an organist and harpsichordist. As a harpsichordist and conductor, he was a guest at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Théatre des Champs-Elysées in Paris and Carnegie Hall in New York. In addition, he teaches at both the University of Leiden and the Conservatory of The Hague and gives lectures all over the world. In all this he is frequently supported by his wife Tini Mathot, without whose earthly support the floating idealist would have long disappeared in the clouds.
