I Am Trying to Break Your Heart plot
Documentary about the difficult creation of the album "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot" (2001) by the American band Wilco. There was a change in the line-up of the band with the departure of guitarist/keyboardist Jay Bennett. There were also business problems. Wilco's record label Reprise Records at the time was not satisfied with the album that the band had handed in to them. After the band refused to return to the studio, an unworkable situation arose. This eventually led to the contract between Wilco and Reprise being dissolved and the group being allowed to start looking for a new record label with the master tapes of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. This eventually became Nonesuch Records.
