Hotel Sahara plot

Nouadhibou is a town in the West African country of Mauritania, one side is located on the ocean, and the other side on the Sahara. Tens of thousands of people have gathered here for ages, each with just one thought in their head; emigrate to Europe. The film shows us how difficult it is to distinguish 'real' from 'fake' refugees. But is someone a 'true' refugee only when his or her life is in danger? And how difficult is it to realize a dream that may never come true?
