"Five crazy houses. Five proud owners."

Director Chris Smith visits five unusual homes and talks to those who built or modified them. For example, there is a man who wrestles with alligators and lives on a houseboat. He also visits an American actress who made her fortune on Japanese television and then built a house in the shape of a tree house in Hawaii. And then there's the inventor who completely automated his house, a family who converted a rocket into their underground home, and a few cat lovers who made their home completely cat-friendly.
