Home Alone - A Romanian Tragedy plot

Every year, about 350,000 children in Romania are left alone by their parents or by one of their parents. The parents seize the opportunity to work in Italy, Spain or another European country. But what about these children? A UNICEF study shows that a third of these children suffer from depression. Some even attempt suicide. In this documentary we are confronted with 3 families where such an attempt unfortunately also succeeded. What prompted the children to do this desperate act? Did they feel left alone? How can we explain it?
