Hell and Back Again plot
Photojournalist and filmmaker Danfung Dennis spent time with the US Marines in Afghanistan and reveals the devastating impact a bullet from a Taliban machine gun has on the life of 25-year-old Sergeant Nathan Harris. The film, originally started as a war report, gradually transforms into an intimate portrait of one man struggling to fit back into civilian life, confronted with physical and emotional problems.
