Gubben i Stugan plot

Ragnar is a retired forester in Kestina, a town in the Swedish province of Dalecarlia. Ragnar lives in a house hidden deep in the vast forest. He was born on the sofa in the kitchen, just like his father and grandfather. Filmmaker Nina Hedenius followed Ragnar in his daily activities for a year. His life is completely determined by the changing of the seasons, with all the climatic and physical changes that entails. Only on a few moments do sounds from the civilized world penetrate this man's life, in the form of the sound of his transistor radio.
