In this sequel to the first part of the documentary Gasland, Josh Fox tries to prove once again that the gas industry's image of shale gas as a clean and safe alternative to petroleum is a myth. By 'fracking' the subsoil, toxic chemicals from the boreholes come into contact with the groundwater. In addition, during the production of shale gas, large amounts of the greenhouse gas methane are released into the atmosphere.
