An introduction to the world of experimental film based on interviews, archive footage and fragments of the work of Stan Brakhage, Robert Breer, Jonas Mekas, Ken Jacobs, Peter Kubelka and other heavyweights. Unlike the image that this discipline carries with it, this film is accessible. The refreshingly comprehensible, no-nonsense approach of director Chodrov, who is also an experimental filmmaker himself, provides a greater understanding of work that is experienced as very hermetic.
