Francesco und der Papst plot

Francesco and the Pope tells the touching story of an 11-year-old boy whose greatest dream may come true: sing once to the Pope. Peter Weckert accompanies Francesco, a chorister with the Pueri Cantores, in this exciting time of tribulation, while at the same time guaranteeing a unique insight into the life of Pope Benedict XVI and the hidden world of the Vatican. At first sight, Francesco is a very normal boy. The eleven-year-old lives with his family in Rome, enjoys playing football and is an avid Boy Scout. But his great passion is music. He sings in the boys' choir Pueri Cantores, which accompanies the papal liturgies. He has only one wish: to perform in the Sistine Chapel. What he hardly dares to hope for may become reality...
