Following Sean plot
"The more things change, the more we're not the same"
Thirty years ago, graduating Ralph Arlyck made a documentary about his neighbor Sean. The four-year-old talked out loud about his marijuana use, constantly walked barefoot on the street and was surrounded by people who normally keep a safe distance from 'impressionable children'. This short documentary was seen by many as a symbol of the excesses of hippie culture. In 2005 the director visits his old quarter again and visits Sean. What happened to him, his parents, the San Francisco neighborhood where he lived.
