Etilaat Roz plot

Completely transparent, constantly on the lookout for abuses in society and politics. The journalists of the newspaper Etilaat Roz have been making the most read newspaper in Kabul for ten years. But what do you do when that work becomes practically impossible? This film follows the team as the city is recaptured by the Taliban. The newspaper editors became a fortress between August and October 2021, when the Americans left Afghanistan and the Taliban recaptured power. Planes and gunshots ring in the background, but work continues inside the perimeter fence.
