Entre la Coupe et l'Election plot
During the 2006 election campaign, Clarisse and Demato, two students from the National Institute of the Arts in Congo, decided to make a film about the first football team from sub-Saharan Africa to participate in the final round of the World Cup: the team of the then Zaire, today Congo again, from 1974. They called themselves the 'Leopards of Zaire' and also won the African National Team Championship that year. But the glory days are indeed a thing of the past, the present still looks bleak, even if the memories of those days still stir emotions in Congo and even on the entire continent.
