In this documentary, the director returns to the Spanish village of Numancia, located between Toledo and Madrid, where she herself was born. There she meets only the last fourteen, elderly residents, including the painter Peio Azketa, who is slowly going blind. The nearby castle, which everyone thought was haunted, has now been converted into a hotel.
