Tapas plot
"The small, everyday stories of a group of neighbours who live in a suburb of Barcelona, and the little secrets that they hide."
Five stories intersect in a neighborhood of a large city. They are five worlds that meet in daily activities, with a bar, the shops and a supermarket as the main meeting places. These people show us their concerns, desires and dreams. Mariano and Conchi, two pensioners living nearby, fear illness and loneliness... Raquel, a middle-aged woman finds love via the Internet, and feels hope and sadness... The future is uncertain for César and Opo, two young people who work in the local supermarket and are busy organizing their holidays... Lolo discovers another world outside his bar, thanks to Mao, his new cook... All these feelings show us life in a working-class neighborhood full of affection, humor and bitterness.

Light-hearted film in which a number of individual stories are reviewed. The film looks nice, has quite a bit of humor and also has a nice Spanish atmosphere. But in the end it is very small and the editing could have been a bit sharper.

Nice warm video. A colorful selection of characters who all arouse some sympathy and sometimes are just funny. And actually everyone is fine in their role, but especially López as a tapas bar owner excels. This way you get a nice film with nothing to worry about. For a good hour anyway. The last 20 minutes, when it all gets a bit more sweet, the tension is also gone. But hey, sometimes I'm mild too. 3.5*.

Beautiful moving and often funny stories in a Spanish city during a heat wave. Various storylines touch each other, and time and again love is the theme. Whether it is about friendship, passion or a successful or unsuccessful marriage.
We see characters that seem very realistic in all their human charm and shortcomings. Nice to be able to take a look at these lives, which, although set in another country, are so well portrayed that there will be a feast of recognition for every viewer in terms of situations.
