Du Sollst Nicht Langweilen: Billy Wilder plot
Billy Wilder, one of Hollywood's greatest writers and directors, was born Samuel Wilder and fled as a young reporter from Germany via Paris to New York when the Nazis came to power. His best-known work includes films such as 'Double Indemnity' (1944), 'The Lost Weekend' (1945), 'Sunset Boulevard' (1950) and 'Some Like It Hot' (1959) starring Marilyn Monroe. Original footage of him, conversations with his colleagues, archival footage and new film footage tell the story of a cinematographic genius and at the same time paint the picture of an important century in history.
