Dlia Domashnego Prosmotra plot

Only the trees next to the apartment where filmmaker Mikhail Zheleznikov grows up have grown considerably. After thirty-seven years, Zheleznikov is still looking out the same window of the same house. He still lives there with his mother. At that time he only exchanged the nursery for the room where he now lives with his wife. Using a collection of school photos, newsreel footage and 8mm family films, Zheleznikov makes an inventory of his childhood in the USSR and post-Soviet Saint Petersburg.
