De Zwaluwenstraat plot

Documentary about a group of children of Roma origin, in which reality and metaphor, filmed images and animations go hand in hand. David, Sorin, Alex and Alexandra live in Zwaluwenstraat. It is the middle of winter and David has found a lifeless sheep on the dike. A mix of drawings, photos, paintings and filmed images poetically shape the inner world of the young protagonists. In this world, stillborn lambs come alive, little houses grow up, and winter turns into spring again.
