Thies Dijkhuis's farm and the accompanying land form a green oasis in the industrialized outskirts of the city of Groningen. Due to an error in the zoning plan, he managed to preserve a small piece of nature in the battle against the encroaching city. Filmmaker Tom Tieman made a portrait of this headstrong livestock farmer.
