De Grens in Mijn Hart plot

Director Rob Hof has regularly made documentaries in Eastern Europe over the past twenty years. This time he takes a train from Saint Petersburg to Sarajevo, via Poland, the former East Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Kosovo and Albania. During this rail movie, he films both the travelers and the landscapes that glide by. Along the way, he visits people he spoke to and filmed before - ten, fifteen years ago. Unknowns, such as a shepherd in Albania, and acquaintances such as the Polish ex-leader Jaruzelski and the former head of the Stasi in Berlin.
