In 2010, Conan O'Brien withdrew his Tonight Show from NBC amid great press and public interest, ending a 22-year partnership with the TV station. Immediately after, he went on tour, hitting 32 cities with a show of music and comedy to showcase his talent, as well as exorcise some personal demons. This "Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour" was his response to a six-month contract with the NBC banning him from appearing on television, radio, or the Internet. An intimate portrait is painted of Conan O'Brien in private, during rehearsals and during his shows.
