Compassie in Actie plot

What started as an initiative of a Buddhist nun and a group of housewives has now grown into Taiwan's largest NGO: Tzu Chi. In addition to providing immediate relief to disaster areas, the NGO's millions of members are responsible for building hospitals and schools in poor underdeveloped areas of Taiwan. As an exception, director Babeth VanLoo was allowed to enter hospitals and schools with the camera and meet the founder.
