CHoisir à Vingt Ans plot

Through the lives of French soldiers who refused to participate in the Algerian war between 1954 and 1962, this documentary looks back at a forgotten facet of Franco-Algerian history. Some of these conscientious objectors, professional soldiers or conscripts, proponents of nonviolence or anti-colonialists flee to Switzerland. Filmmaker Villi Hermann, himself a former deserter, records their stories.
