Camagroga plot

Tiger nuts, earth almonds or chufas are the root nodules of the age-old grass species Tuber Cyperus. So they are not real nuts. Tiger nuts have a sweet, nutty flavor reminiscent of almonds. Tiger nut milk is the main ingredient of the special drink horchata. This documentary shows the careful process of harvesting these nuts in the La Huerta region of Valencia.
