In 'Age 7 in the USSR', set in the aftermath of the Soviet Union, the children are around 7 years old. Children are interviewed from all over the Soviet Union, from a Russian girl in Lithuania to an Uzbek boy from Kyrgyzstan. From a girl who likes to listen to the stories from the Bible her mother reads to her, to an orphaned boy who is raised by his grandmother in the best communist tradition.
