Born in the USSR: 28 Up plot

In 1990, director Sergei Miroshnichenko started his own version of 7 Up in the former Soviet Union. This follows the famous documentary series 7 Up by Michael Apted, in which Apted follows the lives of a number of British children every seven years since 1964. Born in the USSR: 28 Up is the fourth series in the Russian series. The main characters, first filmed at the age of seven, were born in a country that no longer exists when they are filmed seven years later.
