Bil'in Habibti plot
Palestinians in the village of Bil'in try to counter the occupation of their land with nonviolent protest. The documentary "Bil'in Habibti" shows that resistance, but also how friendship develops between Palestinians and Israelis. Bil'in is in danger of being split in two by the Israeli security wall and more than half swallowed by a neighboring Jewish settlement. The villagers confront the Israeli army with creative weekly demonstrations and direct actions. The military responds with arrests, tear gas and bullets. The Israeli director Pollak, armed with a camera, comes to Bil'in as an activist. During his time there, Bil'in becomes a symbol of the struggle against the wall and the occupation.
