Bigfoot Files plot

Host Mark Evans and geneticist Bryan Sykes team up to find scientific evidence for the existence of the legendary creatures Yeti, Sasquatch and Almasty. Evans travels to the Himalayas to document sightings of the yeti, including by mountaineer Reinhold Messner. Sykes runs DNA tests on yeti hair. In the western US, Evans interviews avid hunters who think they have seen the Sasquatch. They give Sykes a special hair for DNA analysis. Finally, Evans examines sightings of the Almasty in Russia.
