Beijing Besieged by Waste plot

Due to the exponential growth of Beijing, the waste mountain is rising while new methods of waste processing are not forthcoming. Photographer Wang Jiu-liang travels to more than 500 landfills to document the unholy consumption cycle through poignant observational visits with the scavengers who live and work there.
