Ba's Book plot

After a father writes his memoirs in the form of letters to his daughter about his horrific experiences during the Vietnam War and the Iranian Revolution, the daughter responds by making a film of it. Her film becomes a way to bring his story to life visually and to process their shared past. Together, they thus create a bridge between generations and traumas.
