Afval Is Voedsel plot

The waste that we discharge does not disappear, because there is no 'disappearance' because the earth is a closed system. Our waste only seems invisible because we dilute it with water, cover it with earth or let it blow away in the wind. But eventually, we inevitably encounter it again in our drinking water, the air we breathe, our food and in our bodies. This principle, called 'cradle-2-cradle', is further explained by the creators McDonough and Braungart.
