Adelborsten plot

The documentary 'Adelborsten' follows a number of boys and girls during the first months of their training as officers in the Royal Netherlands Navy. The transformation to a well-oiled group culture is placed next to their personal experiences. The film shows how the midshipmen go through an intensive introduction to Texel, the so-called Maritime Introduction Period, in which training is central. The viewer is taken from the arrival at the KIM up to and including the first sailing period, the so-called Adelborstenreis.
