Act One plot
Film adaptation of the autobiography of the same name by writer Moss Hart. He attended Columbia University, and wrote his first play while still a servant to producer/manager Augustus Pitou. His first major comedy, "Once in a Lifetime" (1930), marked the beginning of a long association with George S. Kaufmann. Together with him he wrote: 'You Can't Take It with You' (1936) for which he received the Pulitzer Prize.
