"We need a wave of change."

Fine documentary. Informative, shocking, saddening but also hopeful and very extensive in terms of content. It shows all the disadvantages of plastic for humans and animals. I already knew a lot, but when you are so confronted with the facts, it does something to you. Fortunately, it is not all doom and gloom, it also shows ways of how it could (and should), and what is already being applied today to combat pollution. So a small glimmer of hope. And a crying mother? I hardly noticed, at least it doesn't play a major role.

A documentary that to this day causes a long-term disruption of society. Let me say first of all that this documentary gives a good picture of the substantive problem. At the same time, we see that solutions are usually created. However, the way we deal with this is different. Partly because people often doubt the exact percentage, or that these proposed solutions form a new obstacle. These are discussion points that also appear visibly on the screen here, and we simply have to respect our personal opinions. Personally, I am neutral on this, and will not bury my head in the sand for the facts. On the other hand, I remain critical when it comes to figures and solutions. After all, completely banning plastic is impossible, because too much money is involved.
