Because of the relationship between terror and drugs established by George Bush, all the old hippies are under attack these days. For example, Tommy Chong, once half of the comic duo Cheech & Chong, is visited one day by the drug-fighting brigade that has been deployed at full war strength. Official charge is that Chong sold glass bongs in Pennsylvania through his internet company. 'It seemed to be the only weapons of mass destruction they found this year', Chong responds lightly. But although he is a victim of incitement, he is sentenced to nine months in prison. Despite the wry image of the current cultural clash in the US, the liberating laughter in AKA Tommy Chong is not lacking.
