Zádusní Obet plot
The military trenches are still full of war dead when Inspector Mondl arrives from Vienna in a small Czech town with the task of tracking down a serial killer. The murders seem to be of a ritual nature and it is up to Mondl to disprove this. Suspicion gradually focuses on a few people, including Alma. Once working as a cook, she now takes care of a little orphan girl Lea, formerly a patient in a psychiatric sanatorium, daughter of her deceased former employer.
